The Sun Will Rise - The LIGHT Is Coming
The Sun Will Rise - The LIGHT Is Coming!
It is very likely that ….. your situation will IMPROVE!
As I write this on a Friday afternoon, many will be thinking "Thank God It’s Friday"! They welcome the chance to rest from a busy week at work, perhaps have a relaxed get-away with loved ones. Family and friends are planning to celebrate events. Many have good things to enjoy, great achievements to celebrate.
But for some, it’s yet another week without the expected significant happening. You could be one of those who have waited for so long, and are still waiting, to see the desired change, that elusive end result.
It’s like you’ve worked forever with no promotion, with little acknowledgement for your contribution at your workplace.
Or you have just completed another week without hearing about the desired job offer.
Or you have lost your job!
You could have just lost a loved one; a family member or a close friend.
Or you might be battling an illness that seems to have the upper hand, and this is just one more week with no sign of improvement!
There are times when life seems to be passing by us, leaving us behind.
Everyone else seems to be making progress while “nothing works out for you”
We’ve all been in situations like this – perhaps too many times!
But here’s what I want you to keep in mind if you are currently in a “hopeless situation”.
It is very likely that the situation WILL IMPROVE!
In the equation of life, the total sum of good happenings is greater than the sum of bad events or outcomes.
Every year, more people are born compared to those who die, so the population keeps on growing. Most people travel safely to their destinations. More people are fed, compared to those who go hungry.
More people are healthy, compared to those who are unwell. More people have jobs compared to those who are unemployed.
This is not to say that it is okay to be hungry, sick or unemployed. But think about it this way …
A lot of healthy people have been sick before and they recovered. Many who were unemployed before now have jobs.
Things do get better.
A bad situation is not permanent.
And most of the bad things people dread do not happen!
There could be a time when you thought you were at a dead end, but things worked out just fine. Or you know someone who was written off but turned their lives around.
Someone thought they’d lose their job but didn’t; instead, they got a promotion or a better position!
Regardless of how bad the current situation is, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Every bad situation has a beginning and an end to it – it doesn't last forever.
THIS TOO, SHALL PASS!
When I go through tough times, I like to follow the example of king David in 1 Samuel 30:6
“… but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God”.
I also find comfort from Romans 8:28 “…all things work together for good…”
And even statistically, we know that most bad situations have a good outcome and most of the things that people fear do not actually happen.
So, be encouraged.
It is very likely that your situation will IMPROVE!
More blessings.
